Senior Assisted Eating Project: Through its Senior Nutrition Meals on Wheels Program, this project offered an increased variety of meal options, and provided assistive eating devices.

Community Network Development & Adult Abuse / Exploitation Prevention: Coalition for Dignified Aging (CDA) was designed to develop a community based response network. The Network evaluated the existing processes that currently address criminal abuse and/or exploitation of vulnerable adults.
COPES/Environmental Modifications Expansion: NCCAC was contractor with Aging and Adult Care of Central Washington to provide environmental (home) modifications to low income seniors in six counties.
Senior Nutrition Kitchen: Purchased kitchen equipment and conducted rehabilitation for a commercial grade kitchen to prepare meals for the KCAC Senior Nutrition Program.
Comprehensive Home Visitation Services: Impact low-income senior citizens through purposeful home visitation, dollars for medical and transportation needs and advocacy and referral to any beneficial community programs.
Rural Service Home Repair Project: Performed essential housing repairs to homes of low-income seniors in small cities and unincorporated areas of Spokane County.
Isolated Rural Senior Emergency Meal Project: Provided Shelf Stable Meal packages to isolated, elderly persons living in rural areas, and informed these people of the range of senior services available to them.
Home Accessibility Improvement and Repair Project: Enabled older residents with very low incomes in rural Whitman County to continue to live independently in their own homes by improving accessibility of existing homes and providing emergency home repairs.
Volunteer Companion Project: Trained and matched volunteers to low income rural homebound and isolated seniors to help them remain socially independent and remain in their own homes for as long as possible.
Commodity Supplemental Food Program – Food Delivery Project Funds add ability to distribute food baskets to elderly shut-ins and individuals living in rural areas in conjunction with the Commodity S
Rural Seniors Medical Emergency Response Project provides portable automated external defibrillation units and training in their use at six rural Senior Community Lunch sites. Project includes ordering units, training staff and volunteers, and informing rural senior participants of this emergency service.
Grand Coulee Senior Center Provide Center with the necessary professional means to expand and enhance the programs and services it currently offers. Project will ensure that comprehensive services are made readily accessible to all seniors through the hiring of a part-time Director, volunteer coordinator and grant writer.
Mobile Food Express Expansion Staffed by volunteer drivers and in partnership with six local foods banks, the Mobile Food Express delivers food to extremely low-income senior and disabled families unable to get to local food banks
Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit Outreach Increase access, educate, assist, and advocate for Medicare beneficiaries about their rights and options regarding the new Medicare Prescription Drug Benefit.
Senior Health Care Access Project Provide outreach and assistance in enrolling low-income seniors in the new Medicare Prescription Drug Plan by hiring a Senior Health Care Access Assistant. The role of this position will conduct targeted outreach to rural isolated seniors and assist seniors with the application process to receive the prescription benefit, and assist them in applying for the low-income subsidy.
Meal Service to the Rural Areas in East Grays Harbor County Allow current Congregate Meal program to continue providing a nutritious meal, at an affordable donation, to the low income seniors, living in the rural parts of the county, which without additional funding would receive drastic cuts to service
Senior Crime Prevention Project will help seniors live safer, fuller and independent lives by highlighting crime prevention actions that seniors can take to protect themselves.
Rural Senior Health Benefits Access Project Increase rural seniors’ access to health benefits through four goals: 1) introduce people to BenefitsCheckUp, 2) provide individual and confidential consultations, 3) assist people in enrolling for benefits for which they qualify, 4) expand and train the network of rural service providers, who are knowledgeable about BenefitsCheckUp and other health benefits for seniors.

Encore! Provides a safe and nurturing environment for vulnerable older adults and seniors with functional disability, including Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Clients participate in a wide range of mentally and socially stimulating activities under close supervision from staff and a nutritious lunch is served daily thru OlyCAP’s senior nutrition program.
